1800 Tequila
The agaves are grown high above the sea on mineral-rich, red clay soils in the highlands. They take 8 years to ripen and can only be harvested once.
The unusual bottle shape is a real eye-catcher and inspired by history. The trapezoid shape is reminiscent of the centuries-old Mayan stone pyramids found throughout Mexico. Tequila 1800® was named to commemorate the century in which the first tequila aged in wooden barrels was introduced.
1800 Tequila Blanco
The clean, balanced flavour with a hint of sweet fruit and pepper is perfect as a straight drink, on the rocks, as a shot or in a cocktail.
1800 Tequila Reposado
A rich liquid with notes of buttery caramel, mild spices and a hint of smoke lent by the refining process. Perfectly mixed in a cocktail or on ice.
1800 Tequila Añejo
This dark, amber-coloured spirit is characterised by an oaky vanilla aroma, a nutty toffee flavour and a peppery, spicy finish.
1800 Tequila Cristalino
100% blue Weber agave is harvested by hand at the peak of its ripeness, stored in French and American oak barrels, married together and then refined in port wine barrels.
1800 Tequila Milenio
After a long ageing process, the Extra Anejo is matured for a short time in French oak cognac barrels for a balanced, smooth and unique flavour with notes of vanilla, red fruits and cinnamon.
1800 Guachi Monton Añejo
This añejo tequila is aged for at least 12 months in French and American oak and has been refined in barrels that previously stored an orange liqueur made from tequila. The striking red ceramic bottle with a wooden cap and the traditional name pays homage to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Los Guachimontones in Jalisco, the famous round Mayan pyramids.
Cocktail ideas
1800 Magarita
- 6 cl Tequila 1800 Blanco
- 2 cl fresh lime juice
- 2 cl Curaçao Triple Sec
Moisten the rim of the pre-chilled glass with a lime wedge and carefully dip in sea salt flakes, set aside. Pour the ingredients into the shaker and fill with ice cubes. Shake vigorously and strain into the prepared glass.
