Westland
The Westland distillery is located in Seattle, Washington USA. They made a conscious decision not to produce bourbon, but instead favoured the American single malt whiskey category. They founded and run the ASMW Commission, which now includes 110 distilleries.
Since its foundation in January 2010, the distillery has placed the highest value on quality. Every single malt is made from 100% malted barley. The distillate is only distilled to 80% vol. Only barrels with a maximum capacity of 700 litres are used for maturation.

Westland American Oak
American Oak with 5 types of grain, matured in Select and Reserve New American Oak casks as well as ex-bourbon casks, produces an excellent single malt. Flavours of waffles, chocolate pudding, cherries and bananas.
Westland Colere
Colere Editions use unique barley varieties outside the standard.
Westland Solumn
The Solum Editions reflect the unique whiskey style of the Pacific Northwest. Diverse flavours, characterised by craft and terroir, the home of Westland American single malt whiskey.
Westland Garryana
Edition number 7 combines garry oak, brandy and sherry casks. The brandy cask softens the wild oak, while sherry adds fruitiness and sweetness.
